Look what I received in the mail this past week from my Knitters' Coffee Swap 3 partner, Diane. I have been spoiled!
There is some delicious smelling decaf. French Vanilla coffee, I love that flavor and there's chocolate that needs to be hidden. My kids will eat this whole bag before I can say, Knitters' Coffee Swap Three. An adorable Holiday mug and she made me a Holiday bear magnet for my fridge.
Did I mention the yarn she sent. OMG - THE YARN. Seriously, this woman knows how to spoil, she knows, I tell ya!! She obviously knows of my dishcloth addiction and sent me 10 skeins of cotton. Okay, she had me right there, but she also sent me 2 skeins of Knitpicks Gossamer yarn in the yummiest colors. It doesn't stop there folks, oh no, she sent me 3 yankee candles and a great memo pad.
So I ask you, Did she spoil me or what?! That was one great present and just in time for the Holiday!! Thank you so much, Diane. I will have to post all of my projects with the yarn you sent me. I will be knitting away, while enjoying a hot cuppa joe in my holiday mug, eating chocolates and all the while, a wonderful candle scents the air. Can you see it, can you see it. MMMMMM!!
Psst: You know that Shrek hat and then the swatch on size 7 needles that didn't work out. Yeah, well, I had to swatch another 3 times, yes, 3 times before I got gauge on size 4 needles. WTF, I really knit loose. Anyway, that hat, on the size 4's, yeah, I am really hating it and am ripping out yet another ugly hat. I told him I have a present for him, but it won't be ready until next week. So much for being on time!! I am whispering because if anyone in this house hears me mention the word swatch, shhhh, they will send me outside with my yarn and all. Not fun, not fun.
