This post is for my dear stepfather, aka: Papa Phil. Papa Phil is having surgery as I post this and I just wanted him to know that I wish that I could be there for him. Since I can't be there I wanted to let him know that my heart is with him. I am awaiting my Mom's phone call, to hear how the surgery went. It's hard not being there. I feel better just posting and knowing that he will read this soon and know that we love him.
That's us last year in Little Italy. Little Italy, San Diego and yes, it is very little!!
