This Is What He Saw Part 3/Inspiration on Ravelry

Well I caught the knitting bug again! It didn't take that long. I have found inspiration on Ravelry. Who knew, a few cool patterns on Ravelry and my fingers were itching to get some knitting needles in them. I started a washcloth two nights ago for my friend Kauser's daughter and then I am making one for her son.

Then today I came across this great pattern and can't wait to go home and get started on it. It's the Rickenbacker Scarf by Kirsten Kapur of Through The Loops. She has a lot of great patterns and she is also an amazing knitter. Very talented and so are her very beautiful children.

Look what I received in the mail this week. It is from my Defeat The Winter Doldrum's swap partner. Great scrubby cloths and wonderful creams and delicious chocolates. Of course, I hid the chocolates. Wouldn't want to let that secret out of the bag!! Yes, I hide MY chocolate from my kids. Hey, we all need our stash! Who said it just had to be of yarn.

Thank you my secret swap partner.

Until next time: Knit-Laugh-Enjoy!

New Project On The Needles/Happy Birthday GeorgeAnne

I just bought the pattern for Wendy Bernard's, knit and tonic, Not So Shrunken Cardigan. It is so cute. I saw one of my knitting buddies wearing it last Saturday at Fiber Therapy. Hers was so very adorable on her. She knits some beautiful pieces. You have to go and check out her blog at A Nurse Who Knits.

I have so many patterns that are in my que on Ravelry. There are alot of very cool patterns and people on there that I seem to find more and more things to make. Seriously, my favorites section on there keeps expanding. I love to see how other people have interpreted the same pattern and what yarns or modifications they have made.

I am almost finished with my most recent dishcloth. I am knitting it with yarn that my swap pattern gifted to me. It is Araucania yarn from Chile. It is cotton, but it says to dry flat. Yeah, whatever, it's a dishcloth. Please!!

Tomorrow, I am getting my haircut at 9:15am. What was I thinking? I have my Fiber Therapy at that time, but when you work, and I now work, you have to go when you can!!

What are your plans this weekend?

Until next time: Knit-Laugh-Enjoy and a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGEANNE! My favorite fiber therapy mavin!!
